If you’re out at work all day your dog will appreciate an extra walk or visit to break up her day. And, after a hard day at work you’ll appreciate coming home to a settled dog too. Or maybe you need a bit of extra help due to illness or bad weather. If your dog is a social butterfly she’ll enjoy my group dog walks. Available in hour sessions I collect the dogs from their homes and take them out for a full hour’s walk in the beautiful countryside. Depending on whether your dog is my first or last pick-up/drop-off she could be out with me for anything from one to two hours which is great for breaking up her day and giving her a nice change of scene whilst you’re at work.
I walk a maximum of six dogs at a time and I’m careful to take the personalities of each into account when grouping dogs together. This does mean that each new dog is booked in for a trial period to begin with so I can make sure your dog is going to enjoy her walks with me and my current groups.
Dogs like to run and play so I prefer to walk dogs off-lead where possible. But if your dog has limited recall we can discuss on-lead walks too. I prefer not to take any ball or toys with me on group walks as they can cause issues with resource guarding. However, I am a big fan of treats and I always carry British-made, grain-free treats such as sprats, dehydrated meat and offal and high quality kibble.
Once back in the car I offer a drink to those who need it and get them all settled in for the drive home. I’ll then clean up any muddy paws, towel your dog down and top up water bowls before leaving her to have a good snooze for the rest of the day.
Once I’ve finished all my walks and I’ll sit down with a cuppa and update you so you know who your dog walked with and where. I’ll send pictures, maybe a video too.

Maybe your dog wouldn’t enjoy a group walk. Maybe he is dog-reactive or a bit old for keeping up with the younger pups and he would benefit from a quiet 1:1 walk or visit instead.
The beauty of 1:1 bookings is that I can tailor each session to meet the specific needs of your dog on the day. So if he’d rather snuggle up on the sofa instead of going for a walk, that’s fine. I’ll have plenty of tasty grain-free treats on me and I’ll still clean up any dirty paws and top up waters before I leave. Of course you’ll get a full update later that day too.
