Adjusting to a new routine and environment whilst in kennels or boarding can be traumatic for some dogs. Dog sitting is different. Your dog will be able to stay in the comfort of his own home as I will move into your house for the duration of your break.
I’ll follow his normal routine as closely as possible including feeding and walking times. I’ll eat most of my meals there and snuggle up with him in front of the telly – just like you would on an evening. This will help to ensure that your dog experiences minimal disruption and dog sitting can be the most stress-free option for sensitive and timid dogs.
Another benefit of dog sitting is that your home won’t be left empty whilst you’re away. I’ll be sleeping there at night so your home will be well looked after too. And, depending on how homesick you’re feeling, you can choose to have as many, or as few, updates as you like.
My rates include up to two walks a day to include a group walk with my regulars. If your dog requires extra walking or 1:1 walks additional charges may apply. Because of my dog walking commitments all dog sitting clients must agree that their dog can be left at home for around 5 hours a day.

If you’re planning a date night or know you need to put in some extra hours at work, take a look at my evening dog sitting service. Most clients like to book me from around 6pm to 10pm, but this can be flexible subject to my availability. I’ll make sure your dog gets a good walk, is fed as per his usual routine and we’ll probably spend the rest of the evening snuggled up in front of the telly!
